COMPETENCE IS NOT A MATTER OF GENDER

The steel industry isn't for women? Not at all: In today's modern industry, it's more about brains than brawn. Because competence is not a matter of gender!

Career paths for women

Thanks to technological changes driven by digitalization and automation, as well as workplace safety and ergonomics, job roles are no longer exclusively reserved for male colleagues. We are convinced that teams with a mix of genders can make a unique contribution to corporate culture and diversity within the company.

To this end, we have created the ideal conditions:

Programs for women that promote equality and respectful collaboration

Flexible hours, the option to work part-time, and the ability to work from home. These provide a high degree of flexibility and thus create ideal conditions for balancing family and career

Competitive compensation

Career paths for women in leadership positions

We are actively shaping this change and standing up for our employees.

FORWARD - Our mentoring program for women

We believe that diverse leadership teams can make a significant contribution to our corporate culture and diversity. We therefore support the development of female employees with special programs such as "Career Paths for Women" and "Mentoring for Women", which are firmly anchored in the cross-company qualification program FORWARD.

The Career Paths for Women orientation program is aimed at women in all functions who want to actively plan their careers and see a management career as an option for their professional development. Workshops are held to develop individual ideas and goals and to identify development opportunities in various career paths.

The Mentoring Program for Women is designed for ambitious women in leadership positions who have been successful in their roles for several years or who are about to take on a leadership role and are looking for ways to develop their leadership skills.
